??? about AIR removal

??? about AIR removal i am in the process of doing my header swap and the first thing i am starting to do is remove the AIR equipment, there is a pump near the back of the drivers side over the intake manifold that has a vacuum hose for it, can i remove this pump? what do i do with the vacuum just close it up?

yank that bitch. Useless if you're deleting EGR and emissions codes, Take off the lower panels under the front of the drivers side, unscrew i think 3 screws and take off all of the plugs and tubing. Just dead weight.
Use electric tape at the ends of the plugs so they dont get wet and short something
