Is this a LS6 intake......pic inside Here is a pic of an intake I was thinking of buying but I think its just a ls1 intake off a vette. What do you think?

Re: Is this a LS6 intake......pic inside No, that is an LS1 intake. You can tell as the floor of the intake on an LS6 intake is flat. Have a look at the following pic from ls1howto.com and the LS6 intake is on the right, LS1 on the left.

Can't tell from the picture, but if it doesn't have the hole for the egr on top then it is an ls6.
There are 97-00 Corvette LS1 intakes without EGR. From the bottom, to me that looks like an LS1 intake. Check the part number to be safe.

Like Brett said, flat bottom = LS6, round bottom = LS1.
Also look at the bars in-between the ports on the sides... on an LS1 intake they're diagonal (kinda making an X), and on an LS6 intake they're horizontal & vertical (kinda making a +).
Did that make sense?
