What is the difference between the LS6 and LS2 intake manifolds, or is there a difference?

LS2 intake is vibration welded in production and leaks between the runners causing power loss. LS6 does not leak.....if they used the LS2 design & did a better job in manufacturing it would be a awesome intake....but the LS6 will out perform it even being 78mm vs 90mm.

correct, easy to check, part# is on driverside of the intake near the injectors, there will be no provision for EGR on an LS6 intake as well.
The Stock 2001-2002 F-body LS6 intake is P#12561184.
