coolant temp sensor tourqe Hey guys.
So I'm changing my plugs and wires and broke the damn coolant sensor. Picked up a new one from autzone last night and just snaped it off in the head. How tight do these things need to be and how the hell am I going to get this thing out?? Car has to go to the dealer tommorow to get inspected. It's not a long trip. The car isn't leaking coolant so would I be able to at least get it up to them if I can't get it out?

My helms says 15 lb ft for the ECT sensor. Where did it break off? If you can't get it out with something have the dealer do it. PCM needs it's input to run correctly, if it's not far though you'll probably be OK.
