How much HP difference in the MAC headers with the cats and the offroad one???

You live in Texas.. get LT's.. Mid length headers do not provide as much improvement on a 2002 due to the better flowing exhaust manifolds on 01-02's.

Depending on the cats used you can expect about <5hp loss with cats. Cats also help reduce rasp.

If your state uses a sniffer then you either have to get cats in the y-pipe...or have to have tuning done so you are emissions legal....If they are odbII checkers...just make sure you got o2simms...amd make it looks like you still have real 02's(leave them in the pipe but connect o2simms hidden up further incase they look) and If they check for an exhaust sound volume make sure you got a good muffler to quiet it down.....(some places hate loud exhaust)
