True Duals Question

I have an 02 and I want to keep the stock exhaust manifolds & cats but would like true duals . Anyone tried this & how did it sound ? Oh yeah , I want 2.5" over the axle set-up .

mine are with long tubes, h pipe and dynomax mufflers that dump at the axle...the only ls1 ive ever heard that sounds the way it does. i love it. i have seen an lt1 car with the setup your talking about but with LTH's.

I've seen a couple setups like this, never heard it in person though. Are you wanting to keep the stock manifolds/cats due to inspection reasons?

Bassani makes a dual kit, I believe Mrr23 has them or well, had them. From searching for them I've read that they bolt up to stock manifolds/cats.
