Cutout Question

Cutout Question i have a 99' trans am
would it be pointless for this setup?
lt's (idk what brand yet) - electric cutout - cats - y pipe - lm1 exhaust
i have heard that it is kind of pointless to put cutouts on the loudmouth exhausts because they really arent restrictive. what kind of modifications would i have to do to the Y and connecting the cutouts to the cats. i would point the cutouts towards the ground if that would matter.

tht would probably b insanely loud with the cut-out open, it will b loud enough with just the lt's and lm1...if ur getting just one cut-out u would have to cut a little biut off the mid-pipe and have the cut-out welded in there...i would think it would b pretty hard fitting two cut-outs in there with cats, im not sure about tht though
If you are planning on using cats and getting a LM1 the cut out will not sound much difference between open and closed cutout also will not net anymore noticeable hp. If you are not using cats the same deal applies also i dont recommend the LM1 with out cats it is loud enough to awake the dead and cops will have a field day on your car.
