Electric water pump?

Electric water pump? I've seen these used on other cars (5.0's) with 15-20 hp improvements. Does anyone make an electric water pump for our cars? Does anyone put one on an LS1?

Re: Electric water pump? yes they are made for LS1s and some people use them....
problem is....the "race only" version (no T-stat or heater) is $350 and the "street" version is $500+.....most people (myself included) don't feel thats enough gain for the cost..
