Damn sounds like that little o-ring is really seated in there, I can see it now who ever is yanking from the top is gonna stab themselves in the face when it does come out haha. I think you will find it very difficult to get those LT's in with the dipstick in.

Would removing the oil pan do anything to make getting this dipstick out any easier?

No the dip stick is just held in they a rubber oring and one bolt on the passenger side head. The pan itself should have no effect on it coming out and you can only drop the pan a couple of inches anyways. You should never have to touch the pan just to pull the dip stick out.

well, the update is we snipped the oil stick tube. hahaha Crimped it off and i'm gonna have to do this the hard way now.

Car takes 5 1/4 quarts right? :-) Or was it 5 1/2?

At 5 1/2 I was perfect, just add 5 start the car let it run for a bit, then add to the fill line accordingly.

Ok... god damn passenger side header won't go in now!! HAHAHA COME ON!!

We have the valve cover off and it still won't slide in! AC thingy came out as well. What do you have to move to get this stupid thing in!

try sliding it up at different angles and make sure the car is up plenty high in the air. Sorry this is such a PITA man, mine literally took about and hour to do including taking the manifolds off.

Are you sliding the header in from the bottom?

If you car is up high enough you turn the header so it is almost straight up and it should slide right in.

Other than removing the dipstick I had no trouble at all with my Pacesetters going in from down below.

Thanks for the help everyone! Very quick responses and excellent ideas. Unfortunately, the dipstick had to go in the end. hahaha

But thanks for the help! Headers are in, ORY, and SLP Loudmouth II are in! Everything is ago and the car sounds awesome! Only loud at WOT which is kinda disappointing but it sounds great!

man,
i just got done with my install yesterday removed coil pack and oil dip stick i did not have any problems at all one more thing did not have any help at all did the install myself yank on the dam thing
