whats wrong with my car

start with the basics first things first...check the coolant level! If good...move on to the thermostat. As mentioned on the last most, more information would help finding the problem. Does it get hot at idle? Hot while running? Does it cool back down when your driving again? Any signs of coolant leaks? There is also the possibility that the car is actually not getting hot at all and the temp sending unit is simply shot. but as stated...more information to make a good diagnosis
