Throttle Body Bypass

pissed me off. i was going for the clean look with one hose like people on here said so i went and spent $8 on 5/16 coolent hose just to have it not even come close to fitting

. now i am going to go with the just connecting the 2 hoses together. just though i would let off some steam.

Yea its two different sizes thats why the adpater/connector is needed.

they never said that on any of the posts but i figured that out once i started. im probably just going to connect them at a carshow when i have time

I used one hose and put two clamps on the crossover side. Hasn't leaked yet

Unless you are tricky and run -6AN stainless braided hose from there to the radiator for a really nice, clean look

I used 1 peice of 5/16th and it was a bitch to get on the radiator side, but is ended up working out fine. No leaks.

In theory it HAS to do something for power right?

LMAO! no not really even in theory.. well ok yes in theory but then again not really. It would have to be glowing red hot to change the temp of the air passing through the tb for 1/10000000000th of a second

if you can tell me how to do that i will be your best friend. i couldnt even fit it when i cut it

My 5/16th fit as well, but just barely.
I stretched the radiator side of the tube by inserting a pair of needle-nosed pliers and then applied some WD40 to the fitting, and then a liberal amount of force was applied.
