Installing cats Need to know some experiences on installing carsound 94309's on jet hot lt's and y-pipe. At first glance, no way. Whats the secret?
I can't get muffler shop to install cause my car has less than 80K miles.
I may have to return them and wait for the new jet hot y-pipe and cat package.

Re: Installing cats Just got back from the shop, had to return the carsounds. No clearance. Had the car on the lift and tried positioning the cats in several places, and no luck.
Anyone else have this problem with Jet Hot longtubes and y-pipe?
Need to be street legal and smog approved.

Re: Installing cats you may be able to pass smog but you are not 100% street legal.
its against the law to relocate the cats from their stock postion. Although i wouldnt worry about it. just be careful on the visual test
Alot of cars have LT's with cats and still pass with a 224 cam.
