Talking SLP LMII Installed!

Got my LMII setup installed today and really like it. I did not think I would like their dual tips but do. They are clean, polished and tucked just under the rear bumper. Only problem I had was removing the old setup with a dynomax bullet. Had to cut a few places to get out the old. SLP should change to a band clamp for the pipe that branches off to the drivers side. The clamp they provide does the job but doesn't look as good as a band and probably doesn't hold as good. Overall though I like it.

LM2 is a good cb . usually the muffler shops charge $10 a weld if you dont like the clamp .

i installed my LM2 a few weeks after getting my car and was satisfied with it for quite a while. now though, I feel like it's a little too quiet so I'm going to switch to the LM1 resonator.

I might later get the LMI resonator and try it since now I can change between the two of them easily.

If your considering on getting the LM1, just have a shop weld a pipe in place. I have shotgun resonators (LM1) on my true dual set-up. It sounds awesome and loud, but i guess the cam helps it as well. But most its just a pipe that expands inside, your better off just buying a pipe or a different muffler.

LOL!! i seriously know how you feel. I have the LM1 and sounded great before headers. Now with LT's and ORY i have to try to sneak around cops. Dont get me wrong, i love the sound at cruising speed and WOT.

Im gonna look into a LM2 muffler though, just to see if i can quiet it down some.
