Header Question

Looking to put some pacesetter LTs on the TA.

I'm purchasing midpipe, shifter and LS6 intake as well this summer and looking to spend the least i can spend.

Question....is armor coating or Jethot ceramic coating absolutely necessary? or is it just a preference. I could care less what it looks like...

Is the "black paint" ok to get? I'm assuming the coating just protects the headers more from chipping/puncturing/heat/ & what not...

input?

It's worth it, but go stainless, for 440 bucks, there is a set of headers and a ory on ebay. I have them and i couldn't be happier. they are the "blue tarp" headers

The coating is for heat and rust protection. You should get it if you are going to get Pacesetters. I would also suggest SS though. I am going to get SS when I get headers.
