Need help with header install quick Were down to bolting the egr onto my Hooker Long Tube Headers and the egr flange on the headers is turned the opposite direction from the flange on the egr. It's the tube that connects to the headers and goes to the air box. Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to hook these up? They're steel lines they won't bend. Also, how are you supposed to get the last spark plug on tight with the headers installed?

Re: Need help with header install quick When I put my headers in I had to heat up and bend the A.I.R. tubes to get them to fit onto the header flanges. I remember bolting the pipes onto the stock manifolds and heating them up and then bending them. Good luck bro 
Re: Need help with header install quick Number 8 plug is a pain but easier with headers.. Use a 1.5 inch extension..The ratchet has enough room if its a 6".. your arms and hands will thank you later.. LoL

Re: Need help with header install quick I went to Lowe's and bought a pipe heater/torch. I think it was like $12.00. I think that it was easiest to put the #8 plug from underneath the car. Get that thing going

Re: Need help with header install quick Can you pull the egr out completely? I know you can take the air system out with no adverse affects so I would imagine you can do the same with the egr. This way you could save weight and make you engine bay cleaner.
