Default Got my hooker on!

So I pulled my duals off and installed a Kooks ORY and Hooker Cat-back. On the install, the Y pipe fit good and tucked up nice. However the Catback was a slightly different story, I had to cut the I pipe, and the pipe that exits the passenger side of the muffler to the tip so it would fit. My tips also stick out a good ways haha. Tomorrow I'm going to cut the pipes a little so the tips will sit evenly and not stick out as much.
The car feels slightly slower, but it might just be because of the sound difference. This setup is QUIET compared to my duals. I Like both, but this is a street car so the hooker fits the bill better. I'll try to put up some pictures tomorrow. I would have taken pictures of the install but I was rushing to get it done tonight because of work.

Hahah I'm going to be doing the near exact same thing in the near future... good to hear you're happy. I get confused as to how the tailpipes stay in place with no hanger. Do they?

The tail pipe on the driver side has a hangar, and on the passenger side the pipe that runs over the rearend has a metal piece that bolts on that runs through a rubber clamshell deal.

It seems like my I pipe is vibrating against my drive shaft tunnel. I knew it was close but I couldn't really pull it further left because it looked like the back of it was going to hit my U joint. I don't have the Y pipe bracket on yet, do you think that when I do put it on it will help?

I had similar problems as well. My I-pipe didn't fit into my Y-Pipe.

My exhaust hangs lower on the drivers side. I think it was dumb to put a hanger on the exhaust tip pipe that is clamped to the muffler.
If you cut the hanger some it will even out and might help with your rubbing

I'm also having back firing issues do to small exhaust leaks. I'm a little dissapointed with the small problems but overall I'm happy. I just added and Electric cutout and I know love my exhaust setp up sound wise
