I think tips only matter if you have a Trans Am. Camaro's look better with no tailpipes out the back, it fits the contours of our cars better.

I went with long tubes, cats, & GMMG with Corsa clone tips on my last car. I pretty much LOVED it.

Jonas...why the hell would you get rid of your setup for a y-pipe? I'm surprised at you

GMMG and Corsa are two completely different animals. They sound absolutely nothing alike. I've never heard a GMMG in person that I know of for sure, although I think I've seen and heard it once on an F-body...but I can't be sure...he was just driving by and it looked like he had it...

Anyway, the GMMG is much deeper than Corsa. Every clip of GMMG I've ever heard sounds like any other V8 out there. I think it kind of sounds like a V8 truck - it sounds good, but it's not racy at all. I like a more "tinny" exhaust note, kind of like that famous Flowmaster sounds - it has that aluminum-like high pitchedness to it...if you can understand that. GMMG just sounds like a truck with a catback from what I've heard...IMO...

Corsa is by far the most unique catback out there for the F-body. It sounds nothing like any other V8 out there, and it is much more "racy" than then GMMG. However, it's crazy expensive. The Corsa was on my car when I bought it. I think it sounds pretty good, but I don't know if I'd pay $1,000+ for it. It's up to you. There's a sound clip of it in my profile when I had stock manifolds and cats, but the clip doesn't sound exactly like it did in real life. Cameras just don't do it justice.

I agree with most of this post. But to each their own. My GMMG with high flow cats sounded nothing like a truck and aftermarket catback. It had a slight exotic sound, not like every other v8. however the Corsa I agree with what you said about it.

F that. Don't lower your car. I don't understand why people lower F-body's. They already sit low enough. Unless you're road racing the thing, there's no point in lowering a car that already sits on the ground unless you love hitting speedbumps. Lowering a car that already sits on the ground is That's my opinion on lowering springs for these cars The 'Low Rider' look doesn't belong on an F-body. It belongs on a primered Civic.

F-body's are V8 muscle cars. Sound is what is important, not how well you can drag the exhaust on the ground. You're going to give up the best muscle car sound out there to make your car drag on the ground like the Fast and the Furious? Hey man, it's your car...sorry to see you want to give that up...

Sorry Jonas, but I fail to see how that is high. 6 inches of ground clearance from the SIDESKIRTS will never, ever make a car sitting high

That's high. Our cars are low enough from the factory

Personally I like the deeper sound of the GMMG and how the oval tips fill in nicely on the WS6...on a Camaro I dont think those tips look good at all....but sound and appearance are all opinionated. I can say that ive had nothing but compliments on my GMMG so far.

Am I the only one that likes loud and raspy? I had a magnaflow cb, ORY and LT's before I put the duals on and I thought it sounded great. It had some rasp to it and would rack when changing gears. I loved it. I think it sounds better than the duals do. Except at idle. The duals sound much more aggresive at idle.
As for the Corsa vs. GMMG I would take the Corsa myself. But its all preference what sounds good to one may not to another.

Corsa's sound freakin awesome too. this thread could go on forever debating Corsa or GMMG. I always voted GMMG for a meaner tone, but Corsa for somethin' a little stylish. Everyone always talks about GMMG rasp without cats & long tubes. I fixed that with dual cats instead of manifolds.
