Just a thought My machine guy happens to be a really good friend and will port my stock ls6 and heads for extremely cheap. I am going wtih the vengeance vxr5 cam. So i figured while i was installing it i could take the heads and intake off to let him port it for me. Is it even worth the effort? I eventually want to save up for some trick flow 215's and a fast 92/92 set up. But hey arent we all...But since i have the oppritunity should I?
Be advised if he's never ported heads before he could do more harm than good. A bad port job can cost HP. A terrible port job will ruin heads.

yes his family owns a hot rod shop. Its what he does for a living. He has done a set of heads for me before on my 393 bronco. I know he isnt just going to be doing this in his garage and winging it. I know they do good work.

yeah its not my ideal set up. But i figured it would compliment the cam alot better. And since i have the resources to do it, then why not. But if I did decide to mill the heads what do is a save cc and cr to run on stock internals.
