I guess this is the right section for this. Anyway, has anyone tried to use the A.I.R. pump as a vacuum pump? I have a friend who came across a thread somewhere on a forum about using an electric pump as a vacuum pump, and I mentioned that I had removed my air pump and he might be able to use it. Thanks in advance.

Thats what I figured, but he said he read somewhere that some of the Ford guys were using GM pump from the late 90's to early 00's. Maybe the thread was started by a GM guy to throw the Ford guys off!!
