Default Electirc water pump

What are the benefits is it worth getting one? Also do i need any other parts with this?

higher coolant flow for cooler running and in turn more power
reduced accessory drag on engine for more power
ability to run pump when engine is off to cool off things at the track

you'll have to wire it up, so maybe some fuses or a pre-made wireing harness. and i think the mez unit requires an old style SBC thermostat ($5).

figure 10-15hp gain depending on your application

but at almost $600....ouch

not worth doing on a street car...mechanical pump is a lot safer to run, and they do have some aftermarket high flow pumps for better cooling aswell.
