LS6 intake, which TB?

I'm getting an LS6 intake, unless i hear some negative things as opposed to FAST. My question is what TB are you guys running with them? Stock, ported, 80mm, etc..? And hows the throttle response?

getting your stock one ported would be best

if you're not going with an aftermarket intake...stick with the stock ported TB

the mouth on the ls6 intake is only 78mm anyway i think

The panel is unanimous. Stock ported until you get a bigger aftermarket intake manifold.

its actually not hard at all once you get going just be carefull not to do too much to where you grind a hole through it theres quite a bit in there to shave out, iv done 3 myself.

lol maybe? i can sell you one if you want PM me if interested and il get you pics.
heres one i did, i did eventually cut the front of the shaft off as well. also the bump stop mod

I upgraded to a LS6 and then to a Ported and Polished Throttle body and have not had any problems with the exception of a bit higher idle, but that can be fixed when I get another tune.

You can port your stock one like has been said but if your buying an aftermarket piece MTI polished billet throttlebody sells a really nice throttlebody fpr $419.00 and I have put 3 or 4 on friends cars and had it my self for 3 yrs with 0 problems. Looks like a show piece if you like popping your hood and MTI is a very known company for producing some real fast cars.
