motor mounts.
motor mounts. ive got a cam in my car and the motor shakes pretty violently. the headers move alot obviously. im assuming ive got bad motor mounts? car has 86k on it. should i go w/ solid or just get the poly ones?

Solid motor mounts are for track cars. If you get dolid mounts then the whole car will shake and you will start to have issues with electical components and accesories do to the vibration. If you have a cam it is not unusual for the motor to vibrate, so you may not in fact have a broken mount.
If you drive the car alot polys are a good choice. If you don't already have a poly trans mount the prothane kit is a good option. Being that your car is a 6 speed, the vibrations won't be bad either.
I feel no difference between my solids now and my poly mounts from before. My car is really only driven to car shows though. Dont let anyone steer you from solids if it's what you want
