Default Choke or not?

I'm looking to do a 750 vacuum sec. 4150 street HP carb'd set up on my LS1, and I can't seem to find the info I'm looking for. Do I need a choke or not? This is not a DD, but I will drive it around on the street. Fuel economy is not really a factor to a certian extent. It will not be driven in the rain, but other than that, hot or cold, I want to be able to crank up and go.

Depending on how cold it gets where you are, you should be fine without one. I've got a manual choke carb on my '85, and I don't need it until it gets down into the low 40's.
