Default True Dual Loudmouth

I have always been kind of disapointed with the fact that 4th Gen cars are not "true dual" exhaust. I was looking at the SLP loudmouth resonators and they seem very skinny. I have also seen custom pipeing for "true dual" systems. Would it be possible to run dual 3" pipes back to 2 loudmouth resonators? Would this increase performance? Should an H-pipe be installed before the resonators to equal out the pressure?

The final goal for my car is to have a mid 10 second street legal car running twin turbos. I want to do things right the first time, so I am planning out my mods beforehand.

While I currently do not have the $$$ to do this, I am still curious about the theory.
---Not to mention my car is still on a car carrier somewhere in the western United States. ---

Possible, but I don't think you will get two 3" pipes over the axle. You probably want to have turn downs before the axle. Even with mufflers, true duals are extrememly loud. Since you only have 4 clyinders running through each muffler, it's much less restrictive also. Yes you will need an h-pipe or and x-pipe, preferably an x-pipe.

You could do 3" True dual LM's, but like he said you'd have to dump before the axle. Dual 2.5"s could get you over the axle with some modifications. Most people (myself included) are running two dynomax bullets instead of LM's simply because they sound so much better. It's better to run an X (best) or H (good) pipe, but not necessary. I'm making a dual bullet, no x or h setup right now - should be done by the end of the week, I'll let you know how it sounds.
