ect gauge i have a autometer electric water temp gauge and i was wondering can i run a jumper wire from the ect sensor in the drivers side head to the gauge or do i have to tap into the passenger side head?
The temp sensors may be calibrated differently from the stock sensor compared to the autometer unit, as in different voltage intervals for representative temperatures. I say plug the autometer sensor into the passenger side head. It is correct for the application and it gives you a isolated reading from the other gauge and sensor, getting you better use out of the second temp gauge in the car
