Goofy catch can related idea
Ok dont flame me to hard, I'm thinking out loud here.
We use the vacuum from the intake to draw bad gases in the pcv system out right? Some of us are paranoid about some type of oil emission still getting into the intake even though we're using a great catch can and it doesnt get by tat we can see. SO some of us still vent on top of the valve cover because we refuse to let use use that vacuum source.
What about an electric vacum pump to draw the bad gases instead? 12v dc small pump connected to one side of the catch can. Any thoughts about it?

There is a kit to convert your AIR pump to be vacuum pump to evacuate your crank case. I think it is marketed by Racetronic. Not sure if it will pull enough vacuum.. but you can research it some more or give it a try.. I know I have an old A.I.R pump some where.
