Default Making A Custom Y... Need Some Advice

I am going to be buying parts to make me a custom Y, b/c as all of you know all aftermarket Y Pipes SUCK!!!!!!!!

So i have a website that has SS mandrel bends, i have had some help and been pointed in the right direction on what to do. I have already purchased the Flowmaster 3" X 3.5" merge and will need to get the Flowmaster 3.5" X 3" reducer.

So my question is do i want the Y pipe to be made of 45* bends or 90* bends? Or do i want a combination of both? And the bends are as follows. Steel bends, no leg bends and short leg bends. SO i need help decind what angles and what bends.

And since i am doing an O/R Y should i throw in a bullet (which bullet) muffler to cut down on some rasp?

Here is what my plan is

3" custom O/R Y + GMMG C/B

4 90's. That's all we used to make mine.

I think the GMMG will drone so I would throw a bullet in there I can't tell you what kind to get though

You can take a U bend and cut it in half then flip it and weld it back together to make an S bend for the passenger side.

The driver side could be done with 2 90's and then a 45 at the header. You could also use all 90's but its cheaper to cut a single U bend in half and it makes like two 90's.

I have a dynomax bullet muffler in my I pipe. I am thinking of getting another chambered muffler to replace it. It still has some rasp.
GMMG without cats is VERY Raspy.

Why not use another chambered muffler to keep that "unqiue" sound? How about a 3", 18" long powerstick ?

I would assume it means how much piping comes after the bends. Short leg is as it indicates, as is long... no leg bends? Not a clue.

All my bends are from Magnaflow so whatever is listed on their site is what I have. I can't remember how long the legs were. Legs refers to the pipe after the bend.

The flowmaster merg is huge. I have the 4" one on my y pipe because I was planning on building a full 4" catback but changed my mind once I started ordering the 4" bends to do it. Stainless bends were expensive
