Default How/where do you remote mount the IAC when using 100mm tb

I have a 100mm throttle body with no IAC. It came with a remote mount but I'm not sure where you are suposed to mount it. Anyone done this?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I know people have used 100mm+ throttle bodys and most of them don't have provissions for the IAC. I'm not sure how the sensor works exactly so that's why I'm having a hard time figuring where to mount it. I think it has to be before the tb blade but the mount is wierd, it's kind of large and has two holes to mount it and then a spot to plug in the sensor. I'm not sure how to mount it to get the sensor in the path of the incoming air?

I'm curious how you figure this out.

Without being able to find the document that explains it better..

IAC is basically a hole on the Lid side of the TB and another on the Intake Manifold side with a plunger in the middle that acts as a "choke" for lack of a better word.
The plunger moves quickly in and out to adapt to changing conditions to maintain idle.

Basically acts like a little "mini smart throttle body" within the throttle body, if that makes any sense.
If I could find the .pdf that explains it exactly id post it, its in either the tuning section here or on HPTuners.

Here's the tb and sensor remote mount. It's a beck intake but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

That's actually pretty helpfull. I think I need to route a small tube from the intake pipe before the tb blade to the sensor mount and then from the sensor mount to the intake after the tb. That way the sensor can regulate the air that gets by the tb to help idle and stuff. I think I'm starting to get it. I didn'y realize the opening in the tb to the iac goes through and back into the intake.
Thanks

Anyone who has pics, that would be super helpful.

Yeah. Find a spot to mount the adapter.

Attach the IAC to the adapter.

Run a line from the lid or some sort of filtered air source to the inlet of the IAC.

Run the outlet from the IAC to some part of the TB or intake after the butterfly. (Not before otherwise it will be pointless)
