Default Safe with open ory?

Is it safe to drive with longtubes and an ory. I notice I get a little backfire when I downshift and let out the clutch, is this bad

It will be fine. People run open headers and others run cutouts right after the header collectors all the time.

i ran open headers for almost two weeks with no problems, it can be heard for miles though.

The backfire is due to lack of back pressure
