head gasket sizing im doing a rebuild and i have come to the point where i am stuck measuring the distance from the piston to the block the stock head gaskets will not work considering that there needs to be .040 of gap between piston and head, i am wondering what the best way to measure the distance from the piston to the block is and if there is a tool out there that is fairly cheap that will help, thanks.
