Can i use this tank and mount it in the rear?

does it need to be vented?

im kinda pissed cus i was about to order and i dont know if it needs to be vented or not. I know the stock over flow is vented. Im gonna run a 10 foot hose to the trunk to relocate the overflow tank. So that i dont spill water all over my tires if it gets hot.
