Cool Help About Heat Extractors

ok my question would be
i have a Raptor hood, but does not come with heat extractors so i was planing on cuttin the back close to the windshield, and add small holes from the inside n outside, i been doin a search but cant find anything. so if some one with knowledge can help me out, i really apreciated. (pics below i want 2 make small holes in the red circle area)

You mean how to do it? I'd use a dremel and start out small...wear a mask - the hood is fiberglass right?

Well, the cowl area is supposed to be high pressure, so I guess if you made holes there, it would force air into the engine bay. I personally would leave it alone, because the air you are taking in is already isolated to the front of the car where the lid is.

yeah, well do u k now any other method 2 keep the temperature more level besides the heat extractor ?
so the car can b better uknow...

Take a 3/8 drill bit and have at it. Who knows how it will work. I agree that it wouldnt get you anything.

i did the same thing to my hood and it seem to have helped it more than made it worst i get the whole idea of it being under pressure but is not like the car wont benefit from letting out heat or taking cold air in i say its a win win
