it has an option to send your ls6 intake back for a 500.00 refund.

350.00 aint bad for a stealth looking intake

please post some sort of result after switching intakes. be it track, dyno, whatever. this is an interesting intake. naturally according to lingenfelter this 90mm ls6 intake performs within 5 rwhp and rwtq to a FAST? for $350 (for those of you with ls6 intakes) not bad.

Wonder how it gets attached? I have a friend that can machine like a champ and has plastic welding capabilities where these can be done much cheaper. Just need to figure out how they attach the new inlet.

mine is a tpis ls6 intake with a 85mm neck. I pulled the neck off once and saw that it was attached by 2 part epoxy. I put it back on with jbweld and has held up fine.

You can also get a 90 or 92 intake by selling your LS6 for $300 then paying another $450 of course then you have to buy a 90 or 92 mm TB to go with it.

Is the FAST 90 metal or plastic?

Also would the FAST 90 be > the LS-6/90 in HP gains?

I like the plastic myself. If all that needs done is machining of a piece for the entrance and attaching with epoxy (epoxy? That's nuts!) I am sure Gene can get the right plastic rod to put a nice weld on there.

Fast 90 is a plastic. I would definitely be worried about having some jb weld holding my TB to the intake...that's nuts!

I'm busting a gut thinking about how that would look when it comes undone

9.81 so far in the 1/4 with 4000#.....works well. The trunk area of a vette is secured with adhesive.

Any reason you chose it over a FAST?

I have had the TPIS Intake and t.b. on my car for a while and so does a friend of mine..
If you get it directly from TPIS then it is only $350.00 to have them modify the snout..
The other $500 is a core charge for if you do not have a LS-6 Intake..
Depending on what your set-up is and if you already have an LS-6 Intake it is worth doing..
It doesnt fall that far behind the Fast set-up
http://www.tpis.com/plog/index.php?o...Id=14&blogId=1

I have had zero problems with the intake and the way it is put together and Daily drive my car to date it has made over 420rwhp and 400ft lbs + with a small cam..
