Default Weird 98 Starting problem

Ive got a 98 z28 that has a weird starting problem. When you go to crank it over to start it, it will just crank and crank, cycle the key off try again same thing, cycle it again and it will fire up and idle like **** for a few seconds, seems to be a fuel pressure related problem. also the security light comes on and will stay on for 5-7 seconds. Do these cars have a one way valve in the fuel line or is the pressure bleed off controlled by the fpr?

I'm having the same problem. Although, my security light does not come on. I'm thinking its a fuel related problem too. I'll be changing my fuel filter this weekend to see if things get better.
