Default LT vs Cutout.. Quick Question

Well after visiting the GM Carlisle show in PA this weekend, I have been pondering on my next decision for the sound in my exhaust. I have a magnaflow catback system installed, and dont get me wrong, but compared to how some of these trans ams were sounding, my car sounds like nothing. Its a 2000 formula. At idle, my car is virtually making no more noise then any other stock car. Opening the throttle it obviously makes more noise, but I'm looking to increase my noise at idle. I had two ideas, either purchasing a nice set of long tube headers and a new y pipe, or just adding a cut out to my exhaust system now. I was just wondering if the cut out would do much at all at increasing the sound of my exhaust, as opposed to long tube headers. Any ideas or suggestions would be great
