Motor Mount tip.... While I was installing my new prothane motor mounts on my 99' LS1, I discovered a trick to getting the sombitches lined back up. Be mindful that this is a difficult job if doing it yourself.... it often requires a buddy to be there to pry the crap on the motor in all different directions.
What I did was hook a ratchet strap to the motor and then the the frame to pull the motor from one side or the other. By doing this, I then only had to pry the motor up or down a bit in order to get the long bolt to enter through.
It turned out to be one of the biggest aids I had. This method was suprisingly easy to do, as it also gave you the ability to twist the motor somewhat.
Been waiting for a while to post this handy tip.

thats a great idea man, i am waiting for my motor mounts as soon as they come im going to install them, but im going to try and do 1 motor mount at a time! that would make it easier i think
