Identifying heads ????
Identifying heads ???? Im not really sure what I have here since I really dont trust the person I bought the car from any longer (blown engine, blown tranny and other issues along the way)
The castings are 862 (4.8 according to the markings under an intake runner) but i imagine theyre aftermarket (maybe TSP)
The valves measure right over 2 inch (I assume 2.02)intake and just over 1.5in on exhaust (i imagine 1.60), the springs are a (dual spring) dark bronze but no other markings, the retainers are a bright silver. Ive got numbers all over the head but I dont know what they mean. Ill have pictures soon.

Im aware the heads are as-cast 4.8/5.3 but im trying to find out if anyone knows what these numbers stamped on it to maybe lead me to who did hte work and the extent of it? I realize that hte springs/retainers arent stock and the valves are def. bigger too.
