Dyno Tune Question
I got my car dyno'd a little while back, and on a hot day I put down 302rwhp and 330rwtq. Its a bone stock 2002 Camaro Z28 Vert OTHER THAN: SLP Lid, K&N filter, Pacesetter LT Headers, Pacesetter ORY. No tune yet. And yes I still had on the stock cat back, which I believe suffocated the top end.
Well anyways, I'm trying to figure out what I could gain with a full dyno tune. I'd like to be around 350ish rwhp.... dunno if I'm greedy or not haha. But since the last dyno I've added a 3" Magnaflow Cat Back and a 15% underdrive pulley.
I'm curious what you guys think?
Its currently running prettu rich as well. Nice and stinky (no cats) and is obviously throwing the code because of a lack of cats.
Any guesses???

i was like "no way you should have numbers that low on that car"....then i saw it was a mustang dyno haha. well with the extra mods you made AND a new dyno tune there is no way you're gonna hit 350 rwhp on that same dyno. on a dynojet you'd be pretty close to that right now without the tune. also, go out and get yourself a good cai kit like the ssra. that should work well with your lid/filter setup for some extra hp, and get the throttle body ported too. it's a good $70 mod for around 5 hp. if you do all this and get a dyno tune you should be closer to the 350 mark on the mustang dyno and well over it on a dynojet.

I've had a few bolt on M6 F-body's make make 350-360rwhp with a tune on our Mustang dyno. A few automatics have made it to the 340's or so. These are usually later year cars with the 241 casting heads, and LS6 intakes. Older cars with bolt ons and a tune usually dyno about 10 to 15hp less.
