Default Magic Stick 4 Cam Performance

Hi all im new to this forum.

Was hoping to get some info on the texas-speed magic stick 4 cam.

My plans are to do as follows

Magic Stick 4
Fast 92 manifold with big mouth 92mm T/B
AFR Heads
Upgraded Lifters
Upgraded Push rods
Upgraded Rockers
Re-Tune

Generaly what times are people running with this cam and what kind of power ?

My aim is to get to the low 11's. Car weighs 1750kg, 3.73 diff gears, 3k stall and built A4 auto.
Considering this info, is it possible to get the time im after ?

Cheers

You'll want a bigger stall for that cam. What CC are you planning to get the AFR's in? Might have to flycut the pistons. You might hit your goal, but you should let a professional put your combo together.

You'd be better off milling those heads to raise the compression and going with a camshaft better suited for them. The MS4 won't clear without cutting your pistons.

You could also look at other brands of aftermarket heads for better piston to vavle clearance due to the vavle angle of the head. Or you could look at TSP's ported 243 (LS2/LS6) casting heads (stock vavle size) if you want to stay with the MS4.

Yes, you will need a looser converter for sure. I would say 4000 minimum. Yank SS 4000 seems to be popular if you dont mind spending 7 or 800 bucks. You can get PTC that will do the same thing for 450.

You will need higher compression with that cam for it to really shine. I would say 11-11.5:1.

Personally I would chose the MS3 over that cam but thats just me.
