Changing NGK55s

For those using these plugs, is 15,000 miles a good time to change them?

I change mine once a season. 4-5K miles.

Cheap insurance, and I have mine running a little fat, so rather than foul them, I change them.

15K sounds like an average time for them. Somewhere in the 15-20K mark.

I change my NGK TR55 once a year unless I am getting ready for a shoot out race or money race I think is going to be a hard race to win.

werent the stock plugs alone good for like 80k or somthing? why change them so soon?

i change mine every 6k.

they cost like 1.39 a piece and it gives me an excuse to wrench on my car so why not

Headers make it so much easier I am ALMOST looking forward to my next plug change haha

yeah i really need to change mine its been almost a year and a half and almost 20k miles. but its still running good

Mine have 10k miles and 3 years ..just checked a plug and it looks fine..car is running like new.

Not to change the subject, but anybody have any pointers on how to get the damn passenger side ones out???? I'm kindof at an impass there.....

last time mine were done they were removed and replaced from the bottom..

I removed the ignition coil bracket which gave me the extra room....that's when i had the stock manifold. It's alot easier with LT's to do.

Because they're not as good as the NGK TR55s, especially after 20k-30k miles, nevermind the 100k miles that they're rated for.
