I am new to this forum and JUST bought this car.
can you tell me a little bit more about it?
is this a good combination of stuff?
what else should i do to it?
98 Z28 M6 w/ 65k miles and the sport appearance package
The guy who i bought it from is a mechanic and this is as much as i know what is done until i talk to him a little more.
Comp Cams Texas Speed Magic Stick 4 camshaft, PRC Dual Valve springs, Titanium retainers, and Chrome Moly pushrods
I added a new LS6 high volume oil pump and a new LS2 Timing Chain
Mac 3" off-road y-pipe to the Borla Stainless Steel Exhaust. The computer was also sent out and professionally tuned by Texas-Speed for the modifications done to the vehicle.

Is this a M6 or auto car? And I would reccomend a good dyno tune because there is more to gain with a spot on tune. The MS4 is a big cam and it needs to breath so I would get a portd fast 92 and Nick williams throttle body. The fast will help it breath alot better than the slack ls1 intake. Or you could get a set of heads first for around the same money as the fast. Texas speed sells good CNC,d LS6 heads for 1295 I think. Anyways good luck and welcome to the LS1 world.
LSWONGTO has a good point. They say that the more radical stuff you have done to your engine in terms of cams/heads, the more that Fast intake will pay off. If it was me, I'd slap the intake and throttle body on it just to see what kind of gains you can get with the different cam in there. Theres a lot more work in putting on a set of heads versus putting on an intake manifold (the heads will pay off more though). I'd say try the intake with tb and if you are still power hungry, grab a set of heads for it. Sounds like you have a nice setup. Good luck with your new ride.
