cat delete

hello newbie here, My 99 ws6 conv. is just to quiet. Will removing my cat with stock exhaust improve sound, or will it just throw a code / check engine light. p.s anyone have a loudmouth system they want to sell? Thanks

i doubt it will make it louder, and unless you buy an O2 sim or get it tuned out it will throw a code

Just add a cat back to it or replace the muffler. You could also put on a cut out which is a cheap mod, the sound isn't that great though.

Yes you'll notice the difference in sound by taking the cat off.

yes it WILL get louder and it WILL be raspy/kind of disgusting...the loudmouth will only make it WORSE unless you replace the resonator with a bullet or chambered muffler

how do I know? Been there/done that
