Another LS2/LS6 intake question

Default Another LS2/LS6 intake question

I purchased a complete 408 iron block stroker engine from a local salvage yard. I thought it had an ls1 intake on it so I purchased a 2006 GTO intake,fuelrails, and injectors and installed them onto the motor. I just realized today that it was an LS6 intake not an LS1. Please give me some advice. Should I resell the LS2 intake,rails,injectors and swap back the LS6 with the 80mm BBK TB, or just keep the LS2 on it and buy a new throttle body for the LS2. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank You.

IMO, Go with the LS6 intake... just sell off the LS2 setup.

everyone on here will tell you that the LS6 flows a lot better then the ls2, so id say go with the ls6. and sell the ls2

Its been stated here that the LS6 outflows the LS2 intake. I would sell the LS2 and keep the LS6.

i say sell both and buy a fast 92/92-90/90 or if your going to keep one keep the ls2 get it ported, ls6=300=ls2=200+bbk=200

Get a FAST or the other new 90mm intake coming out. You'll want that 408 to breathe better than the LS6
