no problems w/ mine. easy install. if you go to the track w/o a trailer and tow rig, then don't leave it on high for very long. it will drain a starting battery in no time.

yeahp. thinking of putting in a deep cycle/starting battery. That should fix the battery issue. Will help out even more, when I switch to the electric water pump.

I've had the SLP fan switch for years now and it still works perfect; never throw any codes.

Is there really anything special about a Fan Switch? And how hard is it to wire up?

very easy the slp one has a harness that piggy backs into a connection on the passenger side of the engine bay. the hardest part is running the wire through the firewall.

The new version of the Aeroforce Interceptor gauge has a function that allows you to enable high and low speed fans any time you want it..
It it does just by being hooked up to the diagnostic port..

I got mine so that I could help control my tranny temps in the hot Arkansas summers. One of my coolers is mounted in front of my AC condenser, and turning the fan on high immediately drops my temps ~10 degrees. I guess it's pulling enough air through to make a difference. I didn't know if it would work, but I'm thrilled with the results. Nice piece and easy install.

The SLP switch allow you to manually turn fans on low, high (car on or off) or whatever is programmed into the PCM in the center position. Comes in handy at the track but don't use it anymore just driving around since I lovered my fan on/off temps.
