got a ram air ultra z hood and its on its way, can expect more horsepower?

more power compared to what? the bone stock z28 intake setup?

you should feel a difference in the top end with the cooler air coming in. if you really wanted to get the most out of it, either use the raised airbox as stated, or go for the K&N or Volant air intakes instead of the lid.

other option is to use the UltraZ for looks and use a SSRA and lid for the ramair work

not sure if any body makes an aftermarket unit.

but the stock WS6 box is what i think he was talking about

the only thing people will notice a difference with an aftermarket hood is when your going to a light weight hood to shed off the lbs
