How long did it take?

for a shop to do intake and heads? When I start to mod the motor more I'm just curious how long your cars where down for and a good round figure that a shop would charge to do such a thing and if they pulled the motor or not.

I hate to admit it... 2 months and counting... You just cant account for things going wrong-
Wrong parts shipped, Backordered, Burnt Piston (DAMN-IT) Cracked Sleeve (DAMN-IT), Machine shop polishing the snout of the crank so the balancer slides right on-off (DAMN-IT)
All the right parts are finally here, Praying its done this week- But in the end its Bigger, Stronger, and 3 times the money I had planned

If all of the parts are ordered and received.. a good 2-3 days for the work and tuning, but I'd say a week is not out of the picture... This again if the installer knows what he is doing.
