Catch Can Drain to Crank Case
I am running a 5.3 block with a GTO oil pan. There is now an open port to the crank case left by the now unused truck dipstick.
I have some experience with import crank case vent systems. These often utilize a block mounted fitting by which condensed oil vapor it re-introduced to the system. These work great and manage to maintain oil levels while still removing vapor.
I know this may be hard to visualize without a diagram but here is the plan. I will use the factory ports on each valve cover to feed a sealed catch can. The can will be provided vacuum from the intake manifold source just after the throttle body. The factory PCV valve will be placed between the vacuum source and the can. There would then be a drain from the catch can to the crank case dipstick port.
Where should the fresh air source be plumbed into this system and would it be necessary to have a check valve in the drain line?
Let me know if im crazy and none of this is going to work.

Other than that I wouldn't drain that crap back into the engine, I never find regular looking oil in my catch can.
