Default Pulley pullers...

Does a standard 3-jaw puller work to remove the hub?

Also, what style puller is needed for the power steering pump pulley?

Please be specific if you can help. I will be ordering from summit. I am overseas so it can take 2 weeks or longer for stuff to get here. I wanna get it right the first time so I don't have to reorder.

The 2 that I am looking at are # 6667 & w87127.

I'm doing mine tommorow. The stocker doesn't have threads to pull with. You will need an internal or external jaw type. I brought all three home and will post pics of the one that worked for us tomorrow.

Awesome. Please report back.

Anyone else? Someone has to have pulled an LS1 hub before.

we used a 3 jaw puller on mine, just tricky finding a place for the jaws to bite, then it pulled right off really easily

Three jaw puller worked great. To put it on the tool being sold here would be better but we managed with a piece of wood and lead hammer.

I used the following puller for the balancer.
o Snap-On #YA6490, ($130.00 ?)
o Any late model GM/Chrysler Harmonic puller
to assist, I used Snap On YA6470 or Summit Racing #SME-906008 to hold the balancer.

for the power steering:
• Snap On Power Steeting/Alternator Pulley Puller CJ117C
• Snap On Power Steering Pulley Installer CJ122
