Default Wht to coat AN lines / to prevent chafing?

Using AN -6 line for my fuel feed/return. The AN lines themselves are like sandpaper and scrape the aint off anything they touch underhood. One was even running int othe metal AC tube from the air conditioner condenser.

Had black convoluted tubing to prevent chafing....but that looks like a$$. Currently have the car torn down for a H/C change. Since it's apart...... what can I use to coat the AN lines to prevent chafing? Thinking some kind of clear coating, but not sure what exactly.

Any $0.02 appreciated.

I was going to say that black wire loom but then read that you didnt like that. maybe in the places where its metal on metal like the A/C piping take a short(couple inches) piece of hose, slit it down the side and put it over the -6 line to keep it from rubbing directly. other then that,

LOL

I use heat shrink tubing on mine where it looks like it will rub against parts that I don't want rubbed.

Appreciate the input so far. All good ideas. Was hoping to use something that was "clear" so that you can still see the AN lines.....possibly clear plastic tubing......

I'll keep thinking about it

some kind of spray coating? Is a few coats of lacquer thick enough for that? Maybe that clear bandaid stuff? haha
