I have it in my T/A and its not a bad daily driver. You lose a bit on the low end if your still running the factory gears in the rear. I raced an stock SS a while back from a first gear roll, and he stayed with me until i hit 3rd. After that i started to run away real quick, but with some 4.10s the race would have been over from the get go. I put down 386/367 to the wheels through the factory LS1 intake and with open headers. A tune is crucial with that cam, after the install the car wanted to die a few times. Oh and im an M6 what transmission you running?

it all really depends on the tune, gears will make quite a difference but as long a u have a good tune then u shouldnt have any big issues.....a little surging down low but nothing major

Its all in the tune. My buddy DD's his MS3 car in the summer months. The car drives nice and has very little surging. I believe he gets around 14 MPG with a 4000 stall and 100% city driving also.

I get around 17mpg in my ms3 car. Depending on tuning/clutch/gears, and what you're willing to deal with is what will decide if it's a good daily driver cam.

i have the MS3 (look in sig for mods) car sounds absolutely basass. Drivability is just fine, i have 4.10's now...had 3.42...would would get gears for the car if you haven't, with or without a cam lol. It only surges under 2 k if your just coasting, but when u step on the gas at all, it runs stock-like, even with 3.42's it wasn't bad. You will loose low end, but past 2 grand with the 4.10's that thing flies, i recommend cam.

Any reputable tuner should be able to make it drive nice. Like everyone else said, gears help the driveability a lot.

It's a stalled auto that doesn't even have full bolt ons and has a catted y. Those numbers aren't that bad at all.

OP: you can make do with stock gears. I do. But they REALLY compliment the cam. After the cam, you should really start looking into doing gears.

we did a baseline dyno run before we installed my cam so we could compare numbers, on my m6 with full bolt ons and no tune, i only made 301......so if he doesnt have a tune then its definitely beleiveable!

I have a torquer v3 in my camaro with 373 gears and a 3800 converter and its not to bad. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it any where. It does have a little surge down low but its not bad at all. The gas mileage isn't the greatest (about 15 mpg) but if thats what your really worried about get a Honda.
